There are ‘hard’ overrides (which apply absolutely), for example for information about human rights, corruption or crimes against humanity, environment protection

Overriding public interest for disclosing information or part of information exists if the requested information includes data that duly indicate towards issues like corruption, threat to public safety or public health, threat to environment etc.


Out of the analysed countries, only Montenegro includes a clear mandatory public interest override.
