Direct or indirect monetary or non-monetary relations caused by marital relations and nepotism may put the impartiality of the persons acting on behalf of the administration in danger. Clear set of rules regarding this issue is hence required.

Summary

The respective legal frameworks of the analyzed countries are similar on this issue, with the exception of North Macedonia, where the relevant norms are somewhat scarce, thought still mostly in line with the international standards.
