Prevention of CoI demands public officials from restricting to be owners of the private companies on whose operation they decide in the course of their public office, or which enter in contracts with the state. Certain exceptions may apply.


None of the analysed countries is to be considered as fully in line with standards regarding this issue. The regulation is ofther too general and vague.
